Stage 23 Módena - Milán

It was incredible to share one of the stages with Claudio Chiappucci, one of my rule model as a teenager. He’s great and really fun, and I had the chance to ask him lots of things.

The third person in the pic is Andrea. a SUPER CLASS. He came to Modena with a fixed gear and he could follow us for 3 hours at an average speed of 37 km/h. For his way of loving the bike and his personality an authentic Where is the limit? team rider!

Last kilometres Claudio went stronger, I went stronger, he went even stronger and we finished an incredible training sesion with a myth. We did 185 km in 4h50 minutes.

When we finished the stage I told him..“Claudio, you’re still really strong”

Answer, “El diablo will always be el diablo. Indurain could never hold your rhythm 1km now, and el Diablo went with you 185km at an average speed of 37 km/h”

A top class, with 47 years old, competitive like no other, but always so fun and with a smile in his face

Stage 22 Florencia - Maranello

Only one stage left to finish Everis Tour! It’s incredible that this journey is almost finished. A dream come true. A dream that’s been hard, very hard.. to the point that i get to the last stage with my last energies. But it was totally worth it. Everis good vibes was really contagious and I’ll be always thankful for this opportunity. The friends who accompanied me in this tour did an excellent work, thank you so much!!

But I want to thank for this adventure specially to Maria Jesus Villa, marketing director of Everis. She trusted me form the start, and I’m really glad I finished this challenge because it was a important objective for her. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR BELIEVING ON ME!!

Today’s arrival was great, in the Ferrari Gallery. I was able to join two of my passions, the bike and cars. Once there I went to Ferrari shop and bought Morgana’s first bicycle!!

Stage 20 Roma - Aquapendente

We’re in Italy, and today, after a speech in Everis Rome we headed to Aquapendente. A beautiful road crossing two lakes and going up a 1000 meters to the top of a mountain.

Personaly I’m saving myself for my next challenge in Mongolia. Today I got answer to an email I sent to the organisation asking about the temperatures I should expect in Mongolia, and I must say I got a bit scared when I read the answer:

“In Agust we will be in the midle of the boreal summer so we have big temperature changes from day to night… going form 45/50º close to Gobi and droping to 0º at night. In the northern area we will have probably rain and also we can find snow in the highest parts (2.900m).. like in 2009.”

So maxim respect for the days I have ahead of me.
